Our laser hair removal prices vary from $30.00 for an upper lip with an add-on discount all the way to $455.00 for full legs. At Luxe Laser, we have done away with packages, which are typically designed for profit and often feature restrictions and fine print that serve the medspa’s bottom line but not the client’s budget. We offer single session pricing for client convenience and the best value available in the city for services on our Candela GentleMax Pro device. Many of our treatment areas drop in price when bundled together using our add-on program. Some examples of common add-on discounts:

With all laser hair removal treatment areas, we always recommend touchups on an as-needed basis to preserve your investment and keep things looking smooth and sleek. Hormonal areas like the full face or upper lip and chin, bikini line, and others may require more frequent touchups. Clients experiencing a substantial hormonal shift, such as becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, menopause, starting or stopping birth control or HRT, etc., all may contribute to regrowth. Some hormonal IUDs contribute to a more dramatic regrowth in some individuals.
Laser hair removal cannot remove 100% of hair, but we are FDA-cleared to reduce up to 95% of hair. No laser, topical, or medication to date can make that claim. Hairs can be greatly reduced, but will not entirely disappear; like pores, they are part of the skin and have a bodily function.
That said, our laser hair removal service offers a significant reduction, and most of our clients are ecstatic with their results. They come to us for smooth, silky skin with the intention of shaving a lot less and eliminating the need for waxing and sugaring forever (which damages the skin and can cause scarring). With our service, you can eliminate or reduce ingrown hairs and folliculitis, help alleviate Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and potentially prevent a Pilonidal Cyst from recurring after surgery. We frequently receive doctors’ referrals for management of these conditions.
We believe everyone deserves to enjoy smooth, hair-free skin—safely and effectively. That’s why we’ve invested in six different medical-grade lasers, each carefully selected to treat all skin tones and hair types, from the fairest to the deepest complexions. No matter your skin type, we can safely and confidently treat you.
Laser hair removal in Oregon is highly regulated, and only Certified Advanced Estheticians (CAEs), registered nurses, or licensed doctors can legally operate Class IV medical lasers. At Luxe Laser, every laser hair removal treatment is performed by CAEs who are thoroughly trained and certified. Our team specializes in assessing each client’s unique skin and hair type before selecting customized treatment settings. During your consultation, we’ll consider your Fitzpatrick skin type, medical history, and any current medications to ensure your safety and results.
Our advanced lasers are equipped with built-in Fitzpatrick scale technology, which helps us automatically adjust the settings to match your skin tone—minimizing risks and maximizing comfort and effectiveness. For clients with melanin-rich skin (Fitzpatrick Types IV–VI), we use the 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser, the gold standard for safely treating deeper skin tones. This laser penetrates deeper into the skin without targeting melanin in the surface layers, reducing the risk of burns or pigmentation issues. Luxe Laser is one of the few clinics in Portland that offers this advanced laser technology, and we are experts in using it.
Because the Nd:YAG laser is designed for safe, deeper penetration, clients with darker skin types may require 10–12 treatments to achieve optimal, long-lasting results—slightly more than the 755 nm Alexandrite laser, which we use for lighter skin types. But don’t worry—we’ll guide you through every step of the process with expert care and attention.
We offer complimentary consultations and test pulses to determine which laser is best suited to your unique skin and hair. Laser hair removal is not a one-size-fits-all procedure—it’s a highly technical and detail-oriented treatment that requires precision and experience. Our goal is to permanently disable the hair follicle while avoiding under-treatment, over-treatment, or any unwanted side effects.
Our clinic follows strict safety protocols and is fully HIPAA-compliant. Every treatment is documented and charted for continuity of care. At each session, we’ll evaluate your hair growth patterns and adjust your treatment settings accordingly to ensure we’re always progressing toward optimal results.
We use the Candela GentleMax Pro system, widely regarded as one of the most comfortable and effective lasers in the world. These state-of-the-art lasers combine speed, precision, and a built-in cooling system that makes treatment much more tolerable than traditional lasers. Most of our clients describe the sensation as less painful than waxing—and many find it surprisingly comfortable.
Even clients with low pain tolerance can undergo laser hair removal with ease—no topical numbing required. Treatments are usually quick, especially when focusing on small areas, and even multiple areas can be treated in one session efficiently.
Laser hair removal works by delivering a precise dose of laser energy to the pigment in the hair bulb underneath the surface of the skin. This is why it’s important that the hair being treated is the correct shad, as the laser finds the hair by seeking out it’s pigment. The laser is then able to administer this heat only where the hair is located to comfortably and safely hinder follicle function in the treatment area. At any time, only about 10-15% of hairs are in the correct stage of growth, called anagen growth, to experience a permanent reduction with laser hair removal. This is why multiple services are needed.
With each laser hair removal service, hair will reduce and become more fine, revealing silky smooth skin after a series of treatments. You will enjoy progressive reduction with each visit. The Candela GentleMax Pro was FDA-cleared in 2013 for permanent laser hair removal, which is not the case for all laser models. Luxe Laser is proud to utilize only the best laser technology to deliver your ideal results safely and comfortably!
At Luxe Laser, we do not perform laser hair removal on people who are pregnant.
We cannot predict exactly how many sessions you will need, but 6-12 sessions is the starting point for all areas of the body.
Because everyone is different, the number of treatments required varies depending on the individual, hair volume, genetics, and the area to be treated. Some areas, like the underarms, bikini area, and facial areas, tend to require additional sessions, as those hairs are more affected by hormones.
Anywhere between 1-2 years of treatment may be required to reach clearance and effectively treat multiple anagen hair phases.
If you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS, are taking birth control (IUD, implant), or transitioning, you may need ongoing maintenance on hormonal areas due to the steady stream of hormones entering the body, creating new hair growth.
You may be left with lighter or finer hairs at the end of a series. At this point, most people end up only needing to shave once every 3-4 weeks to have hair-free, silky skin! The very few hairs that grow back have been weakened by the laser and grow much more slowly.
Candela GentleMax Pro lasers are considered the most comfortable hair removal lasers in the world, hence why they’re called the GentleMax! In the past, laser hair removal has been stigmatized as extremely painful, but our new lasers are comfortable and move quickly, even faster than shaving.
With Candela GentleMax Pro lasers, people with a low pain threshold can tolerate laser hair removal without the need for topical anesthesia. All of our lasers are paired with state of the art Zimmer Cryo 7 cooling systems cooling for a comfortable treatment. Most of our clients describe laser hair removal as less painful than waxing, and we do our best to put you at ease during your treatment. Most treatments are very quick unless treating multiple areas.
We recommend waiting until all irritation and perifollicular edema (swelling around the follicle) subsides before resuming shaving in the treatment area. Feel free to shave as much or as little as needed in between appointments, we do not need clients to be “grown out” at the time of their visit. All clients are asked to arrive at their visit with a fresh, same-day shave in the treatment area before their laser hair removal visit.
Please abstain from waxing, sugaring, plucking, epilating, or using depilatory creams in between visits in the desired treatment area.
All areas receiving laser hair removal treatment have the same basic requirements-hair must be at least a medium, mousy brown shade, hair must be terminal in texture (thick enough to pluck, feels stubbly after a few days when shaved), we cannot treat over tattoos or permanent makeup, and the area receiving treatment must be protected from sun exposure. Aside from those factors, almost all areas of the body are fair game with the exception of extremely tight areas (like the inner ear).
All areas of the body experience hair growth cycles in different stages. For example, the growth cycle on the scalp is much longer than the rest of the body, and as such, we recommend a special treatment plan to achieve your ideal outcome.
We do not recommend laser hair removal to “shape” the brows or refine the hairline for most clients.
