Laser Genesis is a treatment designed to kickstart an uptick in collagen production as well as encourage progressive change in areas receiving corrective attention. As with many of our services, Laser Genesis is best experienced as part of an ongoing skincare maintenance routine or series for optimal results.
This treatment is done in a thirty-minute appointment slot, but Laser Genesis can be conveniently added to many of our other aesthetic treatments for a deeper, more regenerative treatment.
Generally, a series of six treatments scheduled within 3-4 week intervals is enough to address most skin concerns. The individual treatment results are gradual and subtle, but the overall effect of multiple treatments can be quite dramatic, especially when paired with other aesthetic treatments.
Laser Genesis is a gentle, non-ablative service; however, compliance with pre-care and post-care is important to ensuring your ideal outcome.
Avoid sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum (UVA/UVB) 30 SPF or higher sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.
Bruising, redness, and swelling may occur and resolve over the next 3-5 days.
Avoid direct heat – hot tubs, saunas, etc., for 1-2 days.
Avoid skin irritants (examples below) for 72 hours post-treatment. Products containing tretinoin, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic acids, astringents, etc.
Multiple treatments are required, a minimum of 4-6 sessions, to start seeing visible results.
